The following article by Katie and Gay Hendricks, in my opinion, better explains why we have what we have - a la Law of Attraction way - only this is by way of experience of living. Click on the below button and read on to know what I mean.

In 1983 an American developmental psychologist, Howard Gardener, described 9 types of intelligence. Do click on the button below to review through them. I suggest you rate each type on a scale of 0-10 and see where that leads you to :-)
We are all a continuous flow of matter and energy in a Universe that lives and breathes like an organism. The button below would lead you to a page that explains the point more clearly. Read on..
If this video does not give you reason to get off stimulants (including tea and coffee), I will find others for your benefit :) (The fascia, as a continuous sheet of connective tissue well known to anatomists, has been equated to a fabric by Saint Kabir Das of Indian origin who lived in the 15th century and was a mystic poet and saint who influenced the Bhakti movement. His description of how this fabric of fascia is made may be of particular interest)
Jhini jhini bini chadariya. kah ke tana, kah ke bharni, kaun taar se bini chadariya ingla pingla taana bharni, sushumna tar se bini chadariya. ashta kamal dal charkha doley, panch tatva, gun tini chadariya saiin ko siyat mas dus lagey, thonk-thonk ke bini chadariya. so chaadar sur nar muni odhi, odhi ke maili kini chadariya das Kabir jatan kari odhi, jyon ki tyon dhar deeni chadariya. The following is my understanding of Kabir Das' verses: Stretched/skeined, weaved fine cloth What comments, what was taken/stuffed in, what logics (threads of thought) with which the material (the fine cloth or fabric) of the person was woven. {Words and comments by oneself and others makes the content of thoughts and beliefs and behaviors therefrom and words/phrases/sentences of which beliefs are made have syntax or logic of their own and the integrity/aptness of the logic foretells the quality and character of the person who has such thinking. What is let inside and allowed to make the content of a person's thinking can be well chosen and deliberately/painstakingly form ones character or the material of the person - the fine cloth/fabric that makes the person - the fabric of the person} ingla and pingla (akin to yin and yang) gave the beat/rhythm, sushamna (the esoteric third dimension that comes about when the yin and yang are in relative balance) thread is what the fine cloth is woven of The eight-petal'd lotus (the heart chakra primitively is said to be made of 8 petals) as the charkha (the weaver's wheel), 5 elements (or the panch bhoota of earth, fire, water, air, space/ether) and their corresponding qualities well blended to form the fine cloth the weaver took 10 months to weave it (the approximate gestational period of a human fetus), painstakingly and with effort was tightly weaved this fine cloth This fine cloth was adorned with the thinking of celestials, human beings (others) and saints and was soiled by it all The ever-devoted Kabir (devoted to the cause) wore the fine cloth with deligent care to maintain it as he got it. {meaning in essence that each person comes from a unique make, unique as in not of the same constitution as any other, and consequently the material with which a person is made is unique - from having come to form from oh! so many varied conditions in the making of the fetus which is why each person's material is unique. When untainted by the thinking and opinions and derivations coming from another mind but maintaining an understanding from being exposed to conditioning environments but deriving ones own truth from being true to oneself, the material with which one is born remains unique to the person, unadultrated by content foreign to ones nature} (The above is rough-drafted and needs fine-tuning, but is a gist of what I think Kabir says in his verses. Will refine the above in time) ******************************** The following though is another interpretation of his verses by somebody else (anonymous) चदरिया झीनी रे झीनी, रे राम नाम रस भीनी body is like finely woven cloth and is permeated by the raam naam (ra+ma rechek purak (breath)) अष्ट कमल का चरखा बनाया, पांच तत्त्व की पूनी Eight-petaled lotus was used as a spinning wheel, and the 5 elements as yarn नौ दस मॉस बुनन को लागे, मूरख मैली कीनी took 9-10 months to knit it, Oh fool you soiled it! जब मोरी चादर बन घर आई, रंग रेज को दिनी When I got my sheet, I gave it to person who dyes sheet(guru). ऐसा रंग रंगा रंगरे ने, लालो लाल कर दिनी It was dyed such, totally red in color ध्रुव प्रह्लाद सुदामा ने ओढी, शुकदेव ने निर्मल किन्ही Dhruv prahlad and sudama wore it, Shukdev made it pure. दास कबीर ने ऐसी ओढी, ज्यों की त्यों धर दिनी das kabeer wore it such, he left it as it is(as he got it) --- Notes: Body is a sheet. You can experience cloth but you arent cloth. Compare with Gita. वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि । तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही ॥२- २२॥ kabir urges us to realize body is permeated by ra and ma (in and out going breath) anaapshanti, which is permeating . breath is the link which makes body experience possible.(raam naam), hence re raam naam ras bhini chadariya Eight lotuses, eight latent tendencies of body(survival, threat, accumulation, attention, domination ,suppression, discontentment,) correlate with eight energy centres within body(7+1(bindu). Notice how 5 elements manifest as body and in that we create these tendencies compare with samkhya of kapila. This sheath takes involves 9-10 lunar cycles around earth, time as celestial movement. celestial connection with sheath. You soiled it, you lost awareness :) Kabir now talks about his own body (mori chadar - what happened with his sheet). When kabir took body, he let his guru work on it. His guru dyed it( permanent transformation of body based experiences :-) ) and made it red. (red is the color of root). Kabir now talks about how other noted ppl who wore it, dhruv, prahlad sudama(all bhaktas), and shukdev(son of vyasa) and purified it (lived with awareness). How did Kabir wear it? Kabir, dint let it get soiled. He maintained the new born's awareness all his life. Your deepest presence is in every small contraction and expansion, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as bird wings.
~ Rumi (The Breath of Life, as our essential presence expressed as primary respiration in our system, is expressed as an expansion and contraction. Voices from across time and space have felt/sensed the essence of life. Here is Rumi's take on it.) |
