DripplesDripples (drops n' ripples) attempts to invite a relook at our current definitions, at what we know and don't know, of our selves, at health and of life itself, and perhaps have a perspective that is new.

What is trauma? Anything that has one dissociate from life the way it is, in response to an incident, after which life is never the same again. Of course, life can never be the same again with a happy incident, but "trauma" is when life is never the pleasant way it used to be again.
In the movie, Frozen, Elsa has had to defend herself from the environment she was in by offense (she had to create an ice fortress to ward off from the hurters/judgers. She had to shut off her emotions so she could no longer feel, so she could no longer feel the pain. She had immense power but she could not control her power when she needed to (to save her sister Anna's life from the impact of Elsa's own action...the act of directing her icy wrath on Anna when Elsa wanted no more of Anna's attention). It was only love that could thaw the ice and bring the emotion required to melt the icy statue that Anna was getting frozen into. It is only love that could help Elsa control her power, and not be a force of destruction. It is with love that she could breathe, heal, love and live again amidst people. People either Fight, Flight, or Freeze to deal with life's situations. When you dont come out of Freeze or are stuck in a perpetual Freeze state (emotionally usually, but could also be physically or intellectually or spiritually) that life is never the pleasant way it used to be again, and then you have to work to 'be strong' in order to deal with the 'bitch called life' (the pleasant, smooth, flowy life becomes a 'bitch' when life is not pleasant anymore and you have to deal with life rather than live life, because something happened and life was never the pleasant way it used to be). If any of this resonates with you, time to give me a call or message me on the Contact page. It is time to heal, breathe, love and live again.

AuthorMy name is Bitha Sadanandan. I am a person behind MITI World but this blog is my 'look what I found' pin-up kind of wall developed for a purpose mentioned in the Blog Header. Some things just need to be said, even if an idea only you are crazy enough to have! {Volcanoes are the reason why I voice my thoughts here; a healthy steam-engine keeps the environment life-sustainable.} Categories
