DripplesDripples (drops n' ripples) attempts to invite a relook at our current definitions, at what we know and don't know, of our selves, at health and of life itself, and perhaps have a perspective that is new.

We have in some ways desensitized our ability to feel and that only translates further in our inability to empathize, which is why there is so much suffering happening in the world and the war/accident reports in newspapers are now strategized/recommended to be not read but to instead move to sports and other better news so you can feel healthy, and maybe in time would feel healthy enough to then be able to look at the accident and war pages. I do not know if the latter has been in the agenda but there does seem to be reasons for not looking at suffering, perhaps a continuation of a trend of not looking at your own suffering but rather to only be in the good places. The suffering is calling out for attention. If you dont listen to it, it will have to scream it out so it gets some attention; if that does not work, violence is resorted to so it gets some attention or it will HAVE your attention. The extremists, I think, are doing just that. Pay attention to the avoided parts of yourself. It is easier when it is seeking attention than when it forces you to pay attention. A little care does go a long way. Literally.

AuthorMy name is Bitha Sadanandan. I am a person behind MITI World but this blog is my 'look what I found' pin-up kind of wall developed for a purpose mentioned in the Blog Header. Some things just need to be said, even if an idea only you are crazy enough to have! {Volcanoes are the reason why I voice my thoughts here; a healthy steam-engine keeps the environment life-sustainable.} Categories
